Bathroom Renovation Barrie

Our Bathroom Renovation Labour Warranty

Every bathroom renovation we complete in Barrie includes a written labour warranty stated in your contract plus a complimentary first-year service call for minor settling adjustments.

Hiring a bathroom contractor should mean knowing exactly who stands behind the work after the crew packs up. Every bathroom we build across Barrie and Simcoe County is backed by a written labour warranty set out directly in your signed contract before demolition begins.

Complimentary first-year service call

As a Barrie house goes through a Lake Simcoe winter freeze and summer humidity cycle, wood framing expands and contracts slightly. Within the first year after we hand over your finished Barrie bathroom, our technician will come back at no cost to take care of minor seasonal settling items, such as:

  • Re-aligning a vanity cabinet door or soft-close drawer slide that has settled slightly with use.
  • Refreshing a bead of flexible silicone along a tub rim, quartz backsplash or tiled shower corner.
  • Fine-tuning the bottom sweep, door latch or hinge tension on a 10 mm frameless glass shower enclosure.
  • Tightening a robe hook, towel bar, toilet seat hinge or valve trim plate.

To book your first-year check-in, call us at (705) 300-5400 or send a note through our contact page.

Workmanship covered by our labour warranty

Our written labour warranty covers the installation work carried out by our team across all bathroom renovation services we provide: shower waterproofing membranes, tile setting and grouting, rough and finish plumbing connections, electrical fixture installation, vanity and countertop mounting, and shower glass installation. If an installation issue covered by your contract warranty arises during the warranty term, we return and repair the workmanship at no labour cost to you.

Dependable warranty protection begins with how the walls and subfloor are prepared before tile is laid. As outlined on our Barrie renovation process page, every shower we build includes continuous membrane waterproofing, a properly sloped pan, solid 2x8 wood blocking for wall hardware, and licensed plumbing and electrical trades.

Items covered separately from installation labour

  • Manufacturer product warranties. Faucet cartridges, thermostatic shower valves, toilets, vanity cabinets, LED mirrors, exhaust fans and electric floor-heating thermostats carry their own manufacturer coverage. If a fixture we supplied develops a factory defect, our team helps you file the manufacturer claim and source the replacement part.
  • Normal household upkeep. Resealing natural stone, refreshing silicone caulking after the first year, and cleaning hard-water mineral scale from glass and aerators are routine homeowner maintenance.
  • Impact damage or harsh chemical cleaners. Cracked tiles from dropped heavy objects, finishes damaged by bleach or abrasive cleaners, or plumbing altered by another party after handover are outside workmanship coverage.

How to book a warranty or service visit

  1. Call us at (705) 300-5400 or message us via our contact page with your name, Barrie street address, and a clear photo or short video clip of the item.
  2. Our Barrie team checks your photo right away and confirms whether the item falls under your first-year adjustment visit, your contract labour warranty, or a manufacturer part replacement.
  3. We book a convenient day and time for our technician to stop by your Barrie home and complete the adjustment. (If you have a leak or damaged tile in a bathroom built by a previous contractor, visit our bathroom repairs in Barrie page instead.)

Keep your signed Barrie renovation contract, itemized quote, final paid receipt and fixture spec sheets together in one folder—both for easy warranty lookup and for future home buyers. See also our terms of use.

Common questions

What is covered under your written workmanship warranty?

Our written labour warranty covers the installation work performed by our crew: shower waterproofing membranes, tile setting, rough and finish plumbing connections, vanity mounting and finish carpentry. If a workmanship issue arises during the warranty term stated in your contract, we return and correct it at no labour charge.

What happens if a faucet cartridge, toilet valve or LED mirror fails after installation?

Manufactured fixtures carry their own factory warranties. When we supply a product, we help coordinate the replacement part with the supplier; when you purchase fixtures directly, keep your receipts and model numbers and we can assist with installing the replacement part.
