Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 7, 2026

This statement sets out how Bathroom Renovation Barrie (“we”, “our”, “us”), operating as a division of Refined Renos at 65 Cedar Pointe Dr Ste 246, Barrie, ON L4N 9R3, handles personal details when you browse bathroomrenovationbarrie.ca, fill out our online quote form, or reach out via our contact page. We comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Ontario privacy rules, and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Personal details gathered through bathroomrenovationbarrie.ca

  • Homeowner and bathroom details you submit. When you request a Barrie bathroom quote or send a question, we receive the fields you enter: your name, telephone number, email address, postal code, Barrie neighbourhood, bathroom type, room measurements, project notes, target budget, schedule preference, and any room photos or video clips you attach.
  • Form protection and campaign tags. To stop automated form spam and see which pages bring in Barrie homeowner requests, our worker logs the sender IP address, a short-lived security token, the referring URL path, and standard ad campaign parameters (like utm_source, utm_medium or gclid).
  • Visitor analytics. Where analytics are active, Google Analytics 4 runs after user interaction to tally overall page visits and button clicks. Browser privacy settings or content blockers can disable analytics at any time.
  • On-demand map embeds. The Google Map frame on our Barrie service areas and contact pages stays off until you click the button to load it.

How our Barrie team uses your information

The contact details and room photos you send are used solely to carry out the work you ask for:

  • Examining your bathroom photos and measurements, preparing an itemized written quote, and replying to your questions.
  • Arranging an in-home measurement visit, drafting layout drawings, submitting City of Barrie APLI permit applications when authorized, and completing your remodel; see our 5-step process.
  • Booking your complimentary first-year adjustment visit and fulfilling our written labour warranty.
  • Guarding our forms and servers against spam and unauthorized traffic.

Homeowner contact lists and uploaded bathroom photographs are never sold, rented or shared with outside marketers. Occasional email updates are sent only if you check the optional marketing consent box, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Hosting partners and data storage

Three technical vendors power bathroomrenovationbarrie.ca:

  • Cloudflare for edge hosting, TLS certificates and form rate-limiting.
  • Mailgun for delivering quote and contact messages to our Barrie inbox.
  • Google for optional analytics and click-to-load maps.

Each vendor processes data strictly under our instructions and contractual security terms. Because cloud networks may route or store data on servers in the United States as well as Canada, records may be subject to lawful requests by courts or authorities in those jurisdictions.

How long records are kept

When you request a photo estimate and decide not to proceed, we keep your message and uploaded photos only long enough to answer follow-up questions, after which unneeded photo files are deleted. When you hire us to remodel your Barrie bathroom, we retain your signed contract, itemized quote, invoices and job records across your labour warranty term and for the tax retention period required by the Canada Revenue Agency and Ontario law.

Reviewing, updating or erasing your details

Under PIPEDA, you can contact us at any time to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal details we hold on file for you.
  • Update your phone number, email address or Barrie street address.
  • Opt out of optional marketing emails.
  • Request removal of inquiry messages or uploaded photos that are no longer needed for active warranty, legal or tax obligations.
