Homeowner Reviews and Testimonials

Inviting a renovation crew into your house for three to five weeks requires confidence in how they communicate, how they protect your floors, and how they handle the small finishing fixes at the end of a job. Below are real client testimonials from bathroom projects completed by our team. Each entry lists the homeowner’s name, their municipality, and the scope of work; where a longer note was trimmed for space, an ellipsis marks the cut.

• We are very happy with the work Slava and his team did and would highly recommend them. We found him to be fair, honest and transparent. He was quick to respond to any inquiries and was very communicative throughout the entire process to address any questions or concerns. We will definitely use Slava for any future projects in our home.

• I hired Slava to do some drywall, mudding & taping, trim, painting and tiles. I was happy with the quality of work, especially the tiles. But most importantly I was happy how he dealt with issues that I pointed out. No issues out of the ordinary but he fixed everything that I asked and stuck around until the job was done.

• …provided a full service option for me from design to demo to finish. The final product was a high quality finish completed within the time estimated. I am completely satisfied with the work and the professionalism through out the process.

• …did a great job, not only in construction part of the job, but also in design part. Very good craftsmanship and attention to details. Fast, honest, reliable.

• Slava recently renovated our outdated bathroom to a beautiful, modern, upscale space which now feels more like a spa! From the beginning, Slava understood the concept we were hoping to achieve and he provided detailed drawings for our approval before proceeding to the next step. He paid a lot of attention to details and was great to work with. His customer service is excellent!…

Why we leave off decorative star widgets

Plenty of renovation websites place an unlinked “5.0 Stars” graphic in the header without pointing to a real review profile. We never display star scores unless they link directly to verifiable public reviews.

Instead, we give you concrete things you can verify before signing a contract: our published Barrie labour packages and all-in price ranges, project photography from real completed bathroom renovations, our WSIB and liability insurance commitments on the about page, and the terms of our written labour warranty.

What to look for when reading contractor reviews in Barrie

As you compare bathroom renovation companies across Barrie and Simcoe County, keep four practical checks in mind:

• See how the crew handles final punch-list details. Every renovation has small adjustments near completion—a tile trim edge, a paint touch-up, a cabinet hinge alignment. Homeowner feedback noting that the crew fixed every item pointed out before wrapping up shows how they will treat your house.
• Look for specific trade details. Authentic feedback talks about communication during the build, tile setting quality, layout drawings, or daily clean-up rather than generic one-line praise.
• Check consistency across full remodels and repair jobs. A track record covering both complete ensuites and detailed repair work carries far more weight than a cluster of vague comments posted in a single week.
• Confirm WSIB, insurance and contract terms directly. Strong reviews never replace an active WSIB clearance certificate, commercial liability insurance, an ESA electrical filing, and an itemized written contract. Follow our step-by-step article on how to vet a bathroom contractor in Barrie.
